You were also blessed to see Erectheion crowned by this marvelous Attic sky that brings out the real colour texture of the Pentelic marble it was made of. Being the most complex edifice of the antiquity, with its three different levels and the restrictions of the spot on the Acropolis rock, making a decent photo of Erectheion is always a challenge. When I think I came up with something good, I have a quick look in the B&W work of the 1900's master Franc Boissonas whose passing from Greece left unsurpassed traces-and the ambition is refueled!
