1/24/2010 3:48:19 PMSunset images abound but few reach this level. A stunning image beautifully captured. Great exposure control and colour compliment the superb composition. Sel. If I could figure out how to vote PCOM using Safari (some site functionality seems to be compromised in Safari) it would get my vote. Wonderful image.

1/24/2010 1:43:22 PMThese guys gotta get bigger moorings! I wouldn't be surprised if these two on their sides will be OK; I've seen that done just to clean one's hull. Of course, then one doesn't arrive there in a storm! Great timing and exposure for a grand and unique sunset shot.
RPLYPhotographer1/24/2010 2:01:12 PMTalked to the owner of the boat on the right. He said it wasn't salvagable. Even though it looked it great shape[future images] he said the hull was cracked. The other is a cement boat and it didn't look too good......

1/24/2010 12:52:47 PMThis is sad for the owners and their insurance companies, but the beached boats provided a beautiful foreground to the pretty seascape. Excellent work that shows beauty, but reminds us of nature's power, which hit a few places around the world in recent days. Regards, Arik.
