This little lizard had tried to swallow another lizard and was having trouble getting it done. You can see the tail sticking out of his mouth. I watched for over 5 minutes and it was still just like this. The dark area on the back is a shadow from a branch.

It has been over a year since I got the idea from Jeff Brouws book, Readymades, Roadside Artifacts. Brouws has been described as a “visual anthropologist.”

I was especially drawn to a series of Brouws’ photos of automobiles. The unifying factor is that each car or pickup has a door, fender, or hood that is a replacement part from car/pickup of a different color. I see these cars daily, but it never occurred to me that a series of pictures of these vehicles could be so exciting to the eye.

A year later and the idea won’t let go of me. Today, I shot my first one. I will post others from time to time.

Yet another welcome visitor. I think that this is called "Japonica", it has very long sharp thorns and in the autumn it has lovely yellow coloured fruits, these I believe are known as "quinces". The birds love them when I have split them open, hence the number of new bushes which I have to tolerate!

Please I need your sincere opinion of this photography about the lighting I used to it,I know that composition and location is not the best, because I took it in home only to test the light that I am using, so I want to your Critiques to go direct to the lighting and sharpness.
I'm trying to start taking photos of study, but the professional lights cost about $ 600 and I due with now have only a little money I used to this photography an umbrella of 20 dollars, an old flash of $ 30 a tripod, a 3 meter cable that connects the flash my camera and I used the light of the flash bounced against the umbrella.
you think that if I use this light in the correct location and composition, can take photographs acceptable to brides , etc.?
I wait your sincere critiques and advice.

I know…..I was away from the site for several days.
But it was not my fault…..Someone declared war on myself and I found my computer almost unserviceable.
During these days we found a malware/spyware known as “Bad-Sites” repeatedly installed on my PC, despite the presence of an antivirus and the “Spyware Doctor” softaware.
Later we found a most dangerous malware named “Zango.Fireworks_Extravaganza”.
Nowadays those malwares have been eliminated but not their bad actions that prevent me from using the scanner and the printer (a few days ago my grandson Federico received his First Communion and I am not able to print the photos of the event…..)
So to morrow I must entrust the PC to my Tecnicians for the reset of the main hard.disk and the re-installation of Windows and programs/softwares.

Well, now you know what happened.
Meanwhile, to let you not forgive me I post an image recently taken with my Nikon. I posted already a similar photo much time ago, taken with my first digital camera, the Olympus Camedia 5060WZ.
So, we may consider this post a re-submission.
In the next days I’ll visit your works with the laptop of my son Stefano, hoping to be able to post again as soon as possibile.

I wish to all of you a fine beginning of the week.
